Error 570 signals a fault in the Walk Assist function — the feature that provides gentle motor assistance when the bike is being pushed on foot. Normal riding motor assistance is usually not affected by error 570. The Walk Assist feature has its own dedicated control path.

Fix Procedure

Step 1: Power Cycle

Remove battery for 30 seconds and retest. Many Walk Assist errors are transient software states that clear on restart.

Step 2: Check Walk Assist Configuration

On Smart System bikes, open the eBike Flow app, navigate to Settings, and verify Walk Assist is enabled. An accidentally disabled Walk Assist setting can produce error 570 when the system detects an inconsistent state.
